「Aphrodite, Vénus de Milo」
The Venus de Milo, along with the Mona Lisa and the Winged Victory of Samothrace, is known as one of the three great female figures in the Louvre Museum. She was discovered in 1820 on the island of Milos in Greece and immediately protected by the Marquis de Rivière, the French ambassador to Greece. Subsequently, she was presented to King Louis XVIII and donated to the Louvre Museum in March 1821. The respect paid by artists such as Delacroix, Rodin, Dali, and others greatly contributed to her fame, and she is now a worldwide icon.

Grand PalaisRéunion des Musées Nationaux – Art Workshop
The Art Workshops (Atelier d’Art) operated by the Grand Palais Rmn, an Industrial and Commercial Public Institution (EPIC) under the jurisdiction of the French Ministry of Culture, refer to two workshops: the Calcographie du Louvre Workshop and the Grand Palais Rmn Cast Workshop.
Since its establishment in 1794 within the Louvre Museum, the Cast Workshop preserves the technique of creating reproductions directly from original sculptures. It holds over 6,000 molds produced upon request from numerous museums and castles. Its mission is also to enable everyone to acquire a faithful reproduction of remarkable works.
